at the Royal Statistical Society, Campion Room
12 Errol Street
London EC1Y 8LX (Old Street and Barbican tube stations)
10:00 am to 12 noon
(Sandwich lunch and coffee provided)
Both meetings are on the bicentenary of Nightingale in 2020
- the March 14 meeting will focus on events and organizations outside the U.K., to take advantage of the Commonwealth Nurses and Midwives Conference being held in London on the week end
- the March 15 meeting on events and organizations within the U.K.
People are welcome to attend either or both meeting; we need to know numbers for food purposes, so please advise firstname.lastname@example.org
Purpose: to promote celebration of Nightingale’s work and ongoing relevance in nursing, midwifery, health care and broader social issues. The agenda will include brainstorming on how to promote special issues of journals, conferences and speakers reflecting on Nightingale’s ongoing legacy.
Information from both meetings will be fed into the larger network of groups tracking Nightingale bicentenary events.
