This
course is appropriate for nursing students, physicians, nurses,
paramedics, and other healthcare professionals. Basic Life Support
(BLS) for healthcare providers teaches CPR and relief of foreign-body
airway obstruction skills for adult and pediatric victims. It includes
training on two-rescuer CPR and the use of bag-masks and automated
external defibrillators (AED). Course length is approximately 41/2
hours (including a break). Successful completion of skills testing and
written examination are required in order to receive a BLS healthcare
provider course completion card. The fee for this training is $40.00.
