Our Mission and Purpose
The Nightingale Nursing Society is a student organization that aims to unite CSULA nursing
students. We are focused on improving the nursing student experience
by providing new information about the program, scheduling, clinical
locations,specific class updates and educational events. Our goals are to help nursing students stay informed and to open up the lines of communication among students and between students and their faculty
members.
Through
quarterly meetings we help determine student issues and discuss new ways
in which we can improve the overall student experience. Membership is
free and open to all students in the School of Nursing. We hope you will
join us on our journey!

Nursing is an art: and if it is to be made an art,
It
requires an exclusive devotion as hard a preparation,
as any
painter's or sculptor's work;
for what is the having to do with dead
canvas or dead marble,
compared with having to do with the living
body,
the temple of God's spirit?
It is one of the Fine Arts: I
had almost said, the finest of Fine Arts.
